tegu will not eat in its feeding tub

i pull her out and put her int he tube with food/pinkie/cricket and she will not eat i put the food in her cage then put her back in and she tears the food up. is there anything i can do to get her to eat in the tub?

it may sound stupid but maybe put something in the tub thats in her cage or maybe its too cold for her outside of the cage. Maybe a heat lamp over her while she eats.

i did today i tried the heat lamp over she didnt want anything to do with it but try to jump out

I had this same problem when mine was smaller. I couldnt get him to eat in his tub for the life of me, he always tried to jump out. So I started feeding him on the floor right outside of his enclosure with a towel down, and he scarfed his food down like no other. Ive been feeding him like this ever since, the only time i'd put him in the feeding bin was for crickets. Maybe they just dont like the feeling of being stuck and enclosed in a small tub. You could try this under close watch, it might work =]
