I was just wondering if anyone has had any trouble with their Tegus fighting with dogs or cats. And how well do they actually do with other animals?

It is very risky and not recommended.

We do let our Tegu's free roam in the house sometime with our cat and dog and they don't seem to care one way or the other. Our big male Red walked up to our old 20 lbs cat and the cat smacked him in the face a few times. The Red is very mellow and he just walked away. Younger animals could have gotten more aggravated and done some damage to each other.

If you look at the bottom of my post, you'll one example of how all my guys and gals seem to ignore each other. Obviouly at first, you must keep a watchful eye on everyone. After time as long as there arent any problems between animal, you wont need to be so watchful or paranoid. Good luck w everything :roon
