terrible night

well lastnight i got home from work to find my tegu missing and my savannah monitor dead im not sure what happened but im sure my dog had a part in it because he was loose/in the house and hes hyper the monitors head got stuck underneath a large slate rock that i thought was secure over some drift wood but apparently the dog probably knocked it down when he jumped ontop of the bin (im assuming) it was awful then?the towel that i keep over my tegu tank was inside and he was gone so now im in my dusty junky attic looking for nero i spot him in a crawl space i tried to get him but he ran further in so now im crawling in this tiny dirty space with dirt and isulation falling on me and no sign of nero so i crawl back out and stick his uvb lamp through a small hole in the wall and crawl back in still no sign of?him and now im panicing then out of no were he comes waddling up to me flicking his tounge at me i put him back in his tank and he escaped two more times i noticed that he can stand up on his back legs & jump

he kept escaping i had take his lights out and put a screen ontop he is smart he figured out how to climb out his bin even after i changed his cage around he just found a new way i cant wait til his 125 gL tank gets here i dont think he will be able to escape out of that also i dont let my dog free roam in my reptile room someone must have had him out and didnt put him back in his cage wich is acually in the basement but its still my fault because i schould have made the rocke more sturdy although ive had it up for about 2 months w\o any problems but i should have checked it like i normally do its just tetrible
