Hello all!

My name is Jacob! I'm a recent Idaho transplant to Texas. Galveston to be specific.

While I'm definitely not a newbie, I haven't had a reptile in 4 years, since the death of my dear bearded dragon Phlox. I've been a long time admirer of Argentine tegus, and have wanted one for about 10 years.

I've just waiting for the right time, enclosure, and tegu to come along. If I can rescue, that's be preferable, but I'm not against a baby either. Just want the right fit., you know?

Anyway, so glad to be here!

Hey Jacob!! Tegus are very interesting animals. If you want some good info on rescues - talk to Rodney Irwin at Tegus Only. (tegusonly.com) He does a lot of rescues from Florida - that's where I got mine, and I'm pretty happy now that he's getting used to me and we're coming to an understanding. They really do respond to patience, so be sure you have plenty!!
