Anyone read this book? My fiancee bought it for me and it was a good read. I reccomend it for any reptile hobbyist. It teaches newer keepers what most vets already know: captive bred animals that seem too good to be true are anything but captive bred. It highlights some of the shadier characters in the business, mainly the Van Nostrand of Strictly Reptiles as well as the law enforcement personnel that are up against some pretty long odds of keeping herps from being illegally imported.
It also taught me what I already should have known about myself and the hobby I love: There is always something bigger, rarer, and hotter that you graduate too if you let things get out of control. This book is a good look into the psychology of the industry in general. Read it, you'll like it.
