the new guy mr.gozar

just wanted to share my good news, i have adopted a new tegu tegu. its a 1 y/o male b/w from bobbies stock, he is around 3-3.5' and is simply gorgeous. iadopted him from 2 members on here drew and serena 2 very very nice people, they even gave me his enclosure and so much reptile supplies i dont even know what to do with lol but im sure ill find a use for it, and they obviously loved him very much and cared for him very well as well as theri other tegu which why im proud th ey decided to allow me to adopt him! his name is gozar and thats what im going to leave it as. ill try to see if my camera will work so i can get some pics of the ole boy but in the mean time you can see pics of him here he is the second tegu!thanks againd drew and serena, i enjoyed chatting with you guys and mr.chapman, hope to see you around soon!

well nero is definately liking something about gozar lol, i intoduced them and she went nuts rubbing all up against him and nudging him, then following him around, she never did this with achilles or pyro,she went though the box gozar came in and was rifling through all the things that he came with, she really liked the gym bag that some of his supplies came in she snuggled up in it for about 1/2 hour and then she start toungue flick all over the front of his enclosure and rested underneath it for a while! pyro on the other hand wasnt to thrilled about gozar hehehe, he tore up his tank threw mulch everywere and was pacing around for about an hour after i put gozar back in his enclosure. surprisingly nero didnt turn her nose up to the ground turkey, im guessing it has something to do with gozar because she hasnt touched ground turkey in a long time, gozar and pyro merrily ate there ground turkey and boiled eggs too but then again pyro never turns down anything lol! im so happy that gozar and nero got along but i hope she isnt too love struck lol!

i got my camera working, but its almost 4 am so i snuck in the reptile room and got a shot of gozar hehehe :mrgreen: i wonder if he is from one of bobby's high white breedings? :chin he sure is gorgeous and has a set of jowls on him too, here ismy first shot of gozar enjoy:

looks like a giant to me... I would seriously ask Bobby and see what he says. But from that picture I say its a giant.

here is my female chacoan and male black and white look at the nose differences. Black and whites have the longer more pointed noses while chacoans have the blunt short nose. That male looks more like an extreme giant than a black & white to me as well.

i have no idea, the couple i got him from said he is from bobby and all they said was b/w so im assuming that he is just a normal. ill shoot bobby an e-mail but i still think he is just a normal.

I spoke to Bobby on the phone earlier and showed him your thread and he agreed that it is 100% Giant.

He does look like he could pass for a giant in that one pic, but after looking at all the other pics you posted Kris, he is a normal for sure.
