thanks

Is it a stick on dial? If so those are crap. Get a digital. Also if you have a screen cover it with a towel AND is your subtrate good with holding humidity?

you can save money by getting cypress mulch (without chemicals) . No offense but your cage lid looks a little "jacked up" dont let him escape!

i know but it was because that uv light was quit small so i had to put it near to the terrarium ground,..... no that i got a strong uv tube i can propperly lock up his terrarium ...

cabral welcome to tegu talk. a outside cage for your tegu would be perfect since wild tegus are in your backyard lol. your setup looks good. I use dried pamagrass and hay and cypress for subsrate. merianae likes humidity 70-80 percent . well rufescens like it dryer than merianae.

hahaha i know but for now i dont want him to hibernate ... thanks for welkoming me. here we have only merianae (in the wild) ....
in the future the outer cage is a possible option
but until he grows full i want him to stay inside with me .... with high temperatures
jaja

Cabral , lol it is winter there southern hemisphere opps My Gus will be going into hibernation soon August and sleeping til April. You could have a great outside cage and set up. Do you have them large land snails ? tegus love them.
