So here are the two baby bearded dragons i got about 2 or 3 weeks ago(whose counting?) to pretty much replace my re homed sav. Both are really active and healthy.
Name's are Tsume and Hige. Tsume has a nice blue and yellow on him (will that fade away) and Hige has a red orange back, both have really cool designs, too bad in the picture you cannot really see it too we'll being its a crap web cam flick. No worries soon i will have a camera and you'll only get the best of pics from me
.
They both already shed TWICE! And they are going into shed again! They shed so much! And are already plumping up and growing it seems. They also eat so much, i have no clue where all the crickets are going, i really don't , so much! Can't wait to my dubia colony gets big enough to feed out of.
I do have a question though, What would be a good size to introduce them to my large male? He is about 17-19" he has a bit of stunt growth and is really calm, they both are about 6 or 7".
Oh and if it matters once the get around the 10" marker they will be housed individually.
My set it is a simple one, Mercury vapor bulb about 13-14" away, its a 100watt power sun, gives me a 105-110 basking spot, i'm shocked i though it would get much hotter and i would have to move it away, seems not though. I have three hides, some decor, news paper and repti carpet substrate, 33% humidity cool side never exceeds 86f.
Feed them a staple of collard greens, mustard greens and your gut loaded crickets coated in Calcium with outD3.
