Two Baby Bearded dragons

So here are the two baby bearded dragons i got about 2 or 3 weeks ago(whose counting?) to pretty much replace my re homed sav. Both are really active and healthy.

Name's are Tsume and Hige. Tsume has a nice blue and yellow on him (will that fade away) and Hige has a red orange back, both have really cool designs, too bad in the picture you cannot really see it too we'll being its a crap web cam flick. No worries soon i will have a camera and you'll only get the best of pics from me :).

They both already shed TWICE! And they are going into shed again! They shed so much! And are already plumping up and growing it seems. They also eat so much, i have no clue where all the crickets are going, i really don't , so much! Can't wait to my dubia colony gets big enough to feed out of.

I do have a question though, What would be a good size to introduce them to my large male? He is about 17-19" he has a bit of stunt growth and is really calm, they both are about 6 or 7".

Oh and if it matters once the get around the 10" marker they will be housed individually.

My set it is a simple one, Mercury vapor bulb about 13-14" away, its a 100watt power sun, gives me a 105-110 basking spot, i'm shocked i though it would get much hotter and i would have to move it away, seems not though. I have three hides, some decor, news paper and repti carpet substrate, 33% humidity cool side never exceeds 86f.

Feed them a staple of collard greens, mustard greens and your gut loaded crickets coated in Calcium with outD3.

Like my set up :)?

@strange_evil nice babies you got, i remember those days lol, baby beardies can eat a ton, i suggest adding some squash(particularly acorn, butternut and spagghetti) the sweet potatoes are good too, i would introduce them through the glass too like adam suggested

@adam1120 whenever you get some babies from those 2 definately put me on the list for 1 lol, those are some sweet looking beardies, love the blue bars on the female

They shed a lot too, and I think the colors are kinda unpredictable, mine is a blood hypo and he was white with red stripes and blue bars, as he got older he is getting more orange and yellow while the blue and red is fading mostly the blue his white is going too but he gets more yellow and orange as time goes, its exciting to see their colors after each shed and yeah when they are really young they have bottomless pits for stomachs lol

@Adam, your Beardies are amazing! Would without a doubt buy one from you, but i'll prob be out of tank room soon lol. Your right these crickets are useless,i gut load the heck out of them then feed them, like when i pick them up with tongs its hard not bust the bellies open. They eat soo much of the them!

@Reptastic, Thanks :), i'll take your advice on the squash i've read a lot of good things about it, same for the sweet potatoes. I don't cook though so i rarely ever go food shopping, it was sad when i went to the market asking around for collard greens and mustard greens :(... lol

@Kellen,yeah mines are like in a non-stop shed. Any pics of your beardie he sounds cool?

I'm hoping to see the colors get brighter and better, my adult male has such dull sand paper brown colors.

haha i now what you mean i hated that lol im a huge guy im 6'2 230 very strong im a power lighter and was a bodybuilder lol and it was seriously the most annoying thing to try and pick up lil crickets with my fingers haha espcially when my local pet shop only had small crickets the only was to throw my beardie in the rubbermaid and let them feast:D but now i switched to roaches, superworms i rarelly give them crickets more as treats even though i now they dont like them haha once you start feeding roached youll never go bak you can see the happiness in your beardie there more active the roaches hold more food longer just better feeders:D and if you got the room just let me now:D

Lol same man, its a real problem. The thing i love the most about roaches is they really don't smell, crickets stink so bad in just a few hrs.

I never really looked into sexing bearded dragons, my adult male was said to be a male when i got him so i never really questioned it. And i pretty much figure these guys are still too young to sex, what some things to look for in order to determine gender and around what age?

Large femoral pores and hemipenis bulges would be a male, smaller pores and no bulges= female, i believe female heads are smaller than their ale counterparts

If not lookin to breed hope for a female and female maybe u can keep them together only if they don't fight and must have two basking spot Excatly the same temp so no fighting happens from them basking same for uvb I think they can feel it my beardie bask under is uvb just as the same if he does under his spot light.

Also gotta change ur signature now since u added those two beautiful babys now:D

Very true! But i'm not sure if i wanted to breed or not, i was just going to make it one of those things i think about as the grow, it would be really cool if i could keep them together, that's why i offered a multiple amount of hides and a large basing platform.

Thank's for the heads up on the sig, totally forgot lol :p .. I need to make some updates on my sig indeed.
