wow is all i can say last measurement was last monday @ 21" today was a tad bit over 23" no signs of hibernation still eats good and today he basked til i turnef of his uvb lamp then he went under also i feel a small beadlike thing in his vent so he might just be a he after all also does anyone else tegu do pushups lol i had him outside today and he was acting weird walking backwards and doing pushups nothing aggresive though he kept coming up to me and when i rubbed him he kept raising his back and tail as i went down like a cat maybe its cause hes getting ready to shed also mikechowder hows your gu doing

My tegu lets me pet his head, caress his body, doesn't show me aggression, has never bit me, but when I wheel him outside in his feeding bin, he arches up and down some. IMO this is a sign of defensiveness. I believe it to be inate. Once they are outside with the sun and clouds overhead, I believe they become a little leary.
