Waking up for meal

Hey everyone, have a question: if my Tegu has had one of those days where he's stayed burrowed/slept all day, would it be better to leave him alone completely and wait til the next day to feed him, or to wake him up for some chow?

Maybe you could put a little bit of food out to see if he comes out on his own to eat. If he can smell it he may wake himself up!
I'd be hesitant to pull him out if he wants to stay buried though. Treat him like a sleepy teenager! ;)

I've kind of been going through the same thing. But my girl is pretty much dead to the world. I don't disturb her, but I'll put a small meal in her enclosure for a few hours every two days or so in case the urge strikes her. I'd rather leave her to her beauty sleep than have her be all pissed off at me for dragging her out for a meal every day :)
