I havnt seen storm or rayne in 2 days, just every now and then a glimpse of a tail popping out a hide, lol, appetites are slowly decreasing, I stil have a bowl of "tegu chow" in the fridge from 2 wks ago, usually its gone in 3-4 days, mice they won't touch at all, they came out briefly today and seemed hungry, they both rushed the food bowl but only ate a small portion each and went back to their hides, so I guess for the next 5-6 mos. I will have no reptiles to care for:( (unless I can get that rhino iguana I been dreaming about lol) anyone else got teus slowing down?

We've still got pretty normal activity over here! Maybe because it's still so darn hot.
I think rhinos are the cutest, with those little triceratops horns going on. :D
They look so prehistoric.

lol @ our same use of words.

Guru is eating every 2-3 days and hiding under his rock most of the day. Gary and Rango are still chowing down and seem to be going full speed.

Mine are normal but I have a question.. My baby 2011 extreme was acting odd the other day, only for one day though. He wasn't I'n his hide ALL DAY but was sleeping alot and just looking drowsy. Would look up at me and move then go back down. He's fine now but could this be a sign that he might go under this winter? I hope not..

My guys come out to eat the extreme barely eats Tonka is still a pig and goes coo coo if he is not fed every two days and he is on a whole prey diet. He basks for two hours then they both hide under my couch. I know my extreme with his other owner went down this time last year for 8 months.

Yeah its only a matter of time before storm and rayne go down, do chevy hide a lot? I'm a bit skeptical about my guys eating a lot because when they do eat they retreat right back to their hides immediately, they bask maybe 20-30 mins a day from what I see, but I'm not their watching them 24/7 lol

I don't. Think so, I believe they know what their bodies need and are acting accordingly so I'm just following their ques

Out of the blue chevy's appetite has increased. Lastweek he would take 4 mice now he has six and is still looking for food. I gave him aout 30 roaches afterthe six. Tonka is now up to 9-10 mice in a sitting and the next day he is like a terror searching for food he has been trying to sample chevy lately too. :)

Our female extreme is slowing down and hiding more. Our 18" red is as squirmy as ever and digs all the time, our male extreme just chills out and sits on his basking spot all day. Oh and our 4 year old is chillin out and basking too, but he's eating more than ever
