Why not Aquarium bred feeders?

I can easily breed marbled crayfish, Shrimp, and convicts(much healthier than fish listed as 'feeder') fairly easily in the aquarium. Why is everyone against using aquarium bred seafood? The only chemical I use is Prime. It just removes the chlorine and chloramine, and I think heavy metals.

I think the issue is more with buying feeders bred in the store. It's common for store-bought feeder fish to be full of parasites. If you're breeding your own feeders and can 100% account for their husbandry before they get eaten, I wouldn't worry.

Agreed. The fish farms add chemicals before shipping, then you don't know what pet stores are doing. And of course, goldfish are a poor choice for feeders.
