here's what i was about to do when Mike Hopcraft and I gotten into the situation, and I highly recommand you to do it, that critter is much more different than any other species of reptiles
call the police and show them the care sheet for these animals and show them the picture that he sent you and the emails that he sent you, and also call SPCA
