Yeah I keep most of my animals with no substrate but for humidity for animals that need a lot it works great, ReptiBark won't hold moisture as log as something like cypress mulch but I personally like the "natural" look to dark substrates.
Great Cage, the Melamine won't swell so long as no water gets to the ends of the sheets, the sides where you can see the pressed and glued wood. Your silicone will keep that from happening.

As soon as I clean out the water bowl for mine every night he climbs right in and soaks for a few, poops then goes back to basking lol. Makes for easy poop clean up but super annoying having to change his water twice in 10 minutes every night.
