Help: need help for making my tegu eat fruit..

Yeah we did the math today it’s actually not bad about 25 a week per adult lizard so reasonably after the expense of the lizard and enclosure one could sustain feeding one lizard for less than what a pack a day smoker spends a week/month

Anyone let your tegus and other pets interact?

That’s awesome my dogs are the same way but I don’t trust them enough to really let them hang around. My tegus don’t mind anything I’ve seen so far but my niles will fight on sight, the male Nile can be left alone with the tegus and not a problem so far other than him trying so hard to cuddle...

Anyone let your tegus and other pets interact?

Today I let the larger of my two niles stomp around the tegus since he’s always showing such an interest in getting out while he sees them out roaming around

    3 questions

I move mine to a smaller tote full of substrate on a heat mat when brumating but once they hit 24” long I move them to a 4x8 with a bigger hotter basking set up I made fixtures myself for 3 and 4 basking bulbs but they will almost always have to be hanging or a basking spot that’s raised up

    Looking to breed

I have an adult male and a female bigger than that and my female isn’t big enough to breed yet from what I’ve been told. I think they have to be 2 years and a certain size she is a beauty though
