Mine did this as well, everyday at the same time. My girl is three now... But she did it at the same age as your boy.
She used to be in a 100 gallon reptile tank... I build her a custom enclosure that is quite large and she has not jumped since.

We feed her frozen food but she always gets excited when she sees it coming in.. today a litte too excited perhaps

I have thought about separating them for the obvious reasons... but i have always had snakes living together with out incident *knock on wood* they seem to like it and i like it for now at least.
Also i herd the bark can also carry mites? we like the stuff just here bad things about it sometimes.

I herd tegus have difficulty absorbing calcium with out vitamin d.
I dont feed in a bin.. Its recommended so try!

thats too funny haha i also have had problems with my tegu eating subsrate when i feed in the enclosure. i just use a bigger dish with edges on the side now to make it harder to drop into substrate

I am fairly new myself so i dont want to give you advise like i know everything.. so with out being softmoric.. i do have some pointers.. or i can atleast share with you my experiences.

i never gave it a shot because i dont have any red tail boas, just common boas with morphs but im sure i will like it.
