    I have thought about separating them for the obvious reasons... but i have always had snakes living together with out incident *knock on wood* they seem to like it and i like it for now at least.     All of it sounds pretty right on. I herd tegus have difficulty absorbing calcium with out vitamin d. I dont feed in a bin.. Its recommended so try! good luck hope i was some help

    thats too funny haha i also have had problems with my tegu eating subsrate when i feed in the enclosure. i just use a bigger dish with edges on the side now to make it harder to drop into substrate
