Thats about the size I use. I have it set up in a closet without the doors. My Tegu free roams though and rarely goes in there. Also he is a Blue, so he is not the size of a Black or Red.
I think the size is good as long as you balance your Temps and allow him/her to free roam every day a bit...
I take my Tegu out quite a bit...before the pandemic. I find he does not like to look out. I put him in a med size. Soft side (canvas)dog carrier with the flaps closed. He curls up in there and chills. When I walk him, being in the wide open makes him nervous and he trys to head for shelter...
