    Any ideas how to assist feed an adolescent tegu? She’s not eating and while the vet is running tests I have to assist feed and medicate. She’s relatively sweet but clamps her mouth shut when it’s medicine time. The vet made it look so easy. Lol

    My baby fights like the devil when I get her out.     I really want to try the reptilinks but I don’t want to spend $75 minimum order on something she may not eat. Most of the other food I give her can be eaten by other critters in the house if she turns her nose up at it.

    Lol she forces me to change her water several times a day. So much dirt gets in her water and she sleeps under the water dish. I have a few other scale babies that seem to fast a lot too. Nice thing is I have enough other critters in the house that whatever one doesn’t eat another generally will.

    I’m guessing shes a little under a year. Being wild caught the guy at the reptile expo I got her at couldn’t be sure. She’s roughly two feet from tip to tip.

    I want to give my girl a variety of food. I’ve seen canned food from zoo med.....has anyone tried this or has any opinion on it? Also I have read I could supplement with high quality dog and cat food.....any particular brand anyone has had success with?
