    I'd start as soon as you can get the harness on him......make sure he's close to some 'cover'. I think they freak out because they feel exposed and vulnerable if they are in a wide open yard.

    nothin but poop

    I take my teg out on the 3rd day after he eats and he poops outside, always. I feed him on Sun and Wed and I take him out before he feeds each day. If I'm to slow he kind of lets me know that he wants out of his cage and that's the sign.

    My Tegu can free roam whenever he wants, but it was still pretty funny to find him on top of my dogs crates looking out the window :P That's why he's named Stewie, he's always plotting something :twisted:

    What kind of fish is ok for our Tegu's? Whole fish or filets? I'm trying to vary my guys diet up a little more. Damn rats are $3 each now and that gets expensive after a while. I'm currently alternating between lean ground turkey and rats. Thanks in advance.
