May I please see a pic of your everglades rat snake? We have what we think is an everglades rat snake, but from what I've heard they are rare. I think it was in the latest issue of Reptiles Magazine that they said there are a few key things to look for to tell if you actually have one. If I...
My tegu's cage is about 6 or 7 inches from the ground. When she comes out to free roam she climbs out by herself to the floor and she can climb back in by herself. When I get the chance I help her in and out. My concern is that I know tegu's don't like to climb and was wondering if I should...
Yeah it was fun. The only thing was that it was very hot in there. I also saw a monitor of some sort in the same plastic tub as a B+W Argentine Tegu... the Tegu didn't look very happy and the monitor was trying to get out the whole time. They had a lot of columbian tegus there. The only...

We pretty much just made sure one was a male, put him with the females, food and water. 3 weeks later...PINKIES! We didn't really do much at all besides clean the cage every few days.
I've been having trouble figuring out exactly what the "loreal scales" are on tegus... I know mine is a argentine black and white.
Can someone please specify where they are?
My mice just gave birth 3 days ago... I got them about 5 weeks ago. I have 3 females with one male. Here are the babies!
...Too bad they're all pretty much feeders.
