    Moving home!

    Hi there ... Haven't posted in a while now but Teg has been hibernating for the last 3 months and I need to move his enclosure to a new property that I'm moving into! Fun and games ey :/ it's a 8x4 enclosure and it will take me a few hours to get it moved! I'm rather worried about disturbing him...

    Semi Hybernation !?

    He's drinking a lot just like normal ! Pee's every day too ! Temps are the same ... Can't get to grips with a creature which grew from 14 inch to 42 inch in 4 months ... ate like a crocodile and now shy's away from a plate !!!? lol :-/

    The only bonding i get is when it's feeding time ... You can see them pupils zoom in on the plate ! lol There's definitely a bond there, i can see a big difference even when the wife or kids are around, he just doesn't want to know them !

    I tried putting Teg in the bath and he totally freaked out, his hart was pounding and he was scratching and sliding on the sides trying to get out !! He was only in for about 20 seconds, boy was he glad to see my hand then !! lol He's only been into a small tub of water on his own terms months...

    He is an amazing Tegu, you must be very proud of him !? Was he hissing/blowing at the beginning of the video ? I must confess though i wouldn't have my fingers that close and so often to Teg's nose !! lol He must be super tame, you must of put a lot of loving care and effort into his upbringing...
