So I have a new problem to deal with. My tegu woke up and has been up for a about 5 days now. She will let me pet her in the tank, but will not allow me to pick her up. I do not want to feed her in the cage. So I am hoping in the next couple of days she will allow me to pick her up.

Yeah I am guessing temps were too high, the temp in my tegus cage during hibernation was around 55-60. She is still hibernating and the temp has increased to 65.

I only feel safe bringing my bearded outside at this point. He just chills on my shoulder. I would love to bring the tegu outside, but the trust level is not there yet. Looks like it was a good time.

I tried the bath tub thing with my girl last year. Usually ended up with her just trying to bury herself under my butt area and not coming out or moving..lol...I am going to be hard working again this year once she decides it is time to wake up.
