Yea. I'm so happy right now. Yesterday my two All American Teg hatchlings ( Shakespeare and Venus came out of hibernation :woot . I hope they are going to come out today, too, :fc . Sorry about the bad quality from the pictures but it was hard to take pictures without knowing where I'm aming at ( with some of the pics ) . I can't wait until they start to eat again and I get to hold them more.

Thank you you two for the very nice compliment :) . Well it's going to take a long time for them to catch up to be the size of our Leonidas lol.

wow those pics just made me realise how much mine had actually grown. Trust me they get more and more color with each shed you will be happy with them. I would say mine is around 20-22" maybe a tad bigger though so he isnt that much ahead. Glad to see yours are out and about though!

Mine still goes nuts and runs like crazy anytime I try to get him out of his enclosure, but once he is out he does just fine.

kaa. Thank you so much for the very nice compliment. Since I have used my T-shirt trick from day one they are still very tame. I had no problem getting them out of the enclosue or holding them. I like the name of your All American Tegu because it's my name, too, lol ( Sam for Samantha ).

DMBizeau. I'm not in a hurry for them to get big. I'm actually happy that they are still this small. Yes, I can't wait to see how they look like when they are bigger but they are already perfect to me :) . Can you please post some pictures of yours ? Thank you.

This is how I got mine so tame.

That t-shirt trick is pretty clever. I just hold mine a bit after feeding, He is getting a little better. Sam is short for Uncle Sam. I like your tegu names too, Very cool.

Thank you :) . I always put them in there when I want to mist down the entire mulch and stir it up or when I'm watching TV or I'm on the computer. Most of the time they are in there ( not just those two but also the others when they were hatchlings ) for about one hour or two :) .
