So apparently tegus REALLY like Arby's. Kodo ate about half of a roast beef sandwich and I was impressed by the gusto with which he snarfed it down. I honestly did not think he'd consume as much as he did. While I have no intention of making fast food a dietary staple, I may make it a once-a-month treat or something. Hopefully, he'll like In 'N' Out just as much, lol.

I found they are very fond of chinese food as well ,but its not a good idea for the processed food thing . Try to not give them that stuff . Just because they can, don't mean they should.

I wouldn't recommend it but every one's different,.. for me once a month is regularly so it becomes a staple more than a treat. At Kodos size it won't take much for too many processed foods to be an issue either with obesity or some other health issue. Kind of like dogs and chocolate, depending on the size of the dog, type and amount of chocolate eaten,.. it can be fatal.

I know what you mean. When I do summer camp shows, I have given my 'gu a chicken nugget on the way home as a treat. I try not to make it a habit though. They get maybe two over the summer.
