Blue Tegu Gender l?

My blue tegu “Chance” is roughly 9mo old to a year..When I got him back in April I was told he was 6-9months old and was still too soon to tell the gender. I uploaded a few very recent photos of Chance, Any opinions? Male or female?

I'm guessing it's a female, just because it doesn't have that large scale by the cloaca . Or have it probed at a Reptile Store. Also, Do a search on youtube for "how to sex a tegu by Rose City Reptiles? They show a couple of ways to sex a tegu while still young including looking for the scale I was talking about.

I unfortunately had no luck getting him probed at a local reptile store..

You don't need to probe a tegu!! Feel on both sides of coclia if its male, you will feel a beebee sized bump on both sides

This is my Red tegu which we call “Big Red” or sometimes biggie red just thought I’d share considering your username

Feel on both sides of the coclia if it is male, you will feel something like a bb on each side. No bb's female, if it has them, male.
