I know there is only one specific book about tegu: Tejus by Gunther Köhler (unfortunately available only in german language)

but what about this book:
"Lizard Man; The Life and Adventures of Bert Langerwerf"

467 pages, how many concernes tegu ? there is no index online or photo. Anyone of you have read it ?

I think it's more of an autobiography. It should be an interesting read though, Bert was one of a kind!

More than one study uses Bert's work as source material and credits him appropriately. Were he still with us and doing field work all over the world, how much more would we know? My guess would be a lot.

I agree, just the description of the book led me to believe it was more of an autobiographical telling of a man's life, not necessarily his scientific findings. Either way I'm sure it will be a great book and is on my want list. Let us know how it reads.
