Brumation questions

[Spot the tegu]

My gu has been in and out of brumation for all of this month she will seem like she has woken up and about a day later she go back under the dirt is this normal ?? Or is she just trying To wake up?

Brumation is expressed differently in different tegus, there isn't a "normal" pattern really. Some tegus will be dormant the entire period, some will arouse maybe once a week or so, some will arouse every day. Hence, as I often say, contrary to popular thought, brumation is not defined by behaviour but by physiology.
