no, there garbage. get a tube style or even better Mercury Vapor (all in one. heat + UVA/UVB). If you go with tube style fluorescent you want the 10.0 rating

It is a UVB bulb which provide UVB.
If you use this bulb you still need another one to provide enough heat...

Or you can buy a UVA+UVB combination bulb which like SUN POWER from zoomed or Solar Glo from Ex Terra... all any other products...

Remember you want to do what is best for the animal. I would HIGHLY recommend the Zoo-Med PowerSun.It is UVA+UVB.

The coil bulbs are complete garbage. Trust me, I just went through all this crap with my enclosure. They've been proven to be harmful to reptiles eyes and there ultraviolet output is next to nothing. Theres a reason they're so cheap. Your best bang for your buck and highest quality is a mercury-vapor bulb. It takes care of all your tegu's light requirements in one single bulb, heat for basking, UVA and UVB. If your dead set on not using a mercury-vapor then go with a heat light + tube fluorescent combo.
