Ear problems!

So I went to feed my little guy today and I noticed one of his ears is blood shot red and looked like it was bout to bleed, but never did. Besides that, he still remained friendly and active. I think something sharp may have gotten poked into it. Is this a cause for concern? Should I find a vet?

Another thing I noticed, he had just gotten through a shed, and I'm noticing little blue scales all over. Is this bad?

Little late ha! But I had it taken to the vet to be seen. It looks fine now.
