I'm posting this for someone I made contact with on Craigslist.
Here's her email
<!-- e --><a href="mailto:[email protected]">[email protected]</a><!-- e -->

She did not send a goo dpic so i can't tell if its Argentinian or Columbian. But here's her ad (name is Meg):

Have Tegu approx 3-4 years old. About 2 feet long or more. Friendly for the most part unless pestered to much. Needs more attention and out time. Eats crickets, meats, bugs, boiled eggs with reptical. You will need a larger reptile set up as the tank he is in is too small, the cage we had him in broke. I have a red heat light, and bowl and house he likes you can have. $15 adoption fee IF YOU PROVE YOU HAVE PROPER SETUP.
If you need a picture will send.

From what she told me they saved the Gu about a year ago from a shelter who was going to put it to sleep. The lady has since moved in with together with her fiance and the cage that they had for the Gu was broken. I don't have any history of the husbandry. Send her an email for a pic. He looked like he was in ok condition but hard to tell from the pics.

Pics of the tegu if you click in - the pic gets bigger

From what I gather he looks like he may be a Colombian.
