I believe Columbians include some fruit in their diet. Try different fruits, even hide it in turkey balls, etc. but don't sweat it.

Not critical. Young ones growing fast need lots of animal protein. Some fruit good if they'll eat it. Once adult and not growing much, they'll eat more fruit if meat isn't around. So, you canceled both or just less meat so they don't become obese.

Mine likes fruit so I feed a bunch of it, as I think it's a nice safeguard against dehydration and seems to help with feeding. Like Walter said though not huge if they won't eat it, but I think it's good if they will...
