One looking at my tegu closely I've realized he's missing a toe nail.... will this grow back? Ive been trying to peel his toes too after a warm soak with tweezers.Not due to shedding or anything I think it was from climbing the screen cage I had him in for a short while. It doesn't look like anything at all except it's just missing a nail. Two, how easily do there teeth come out and should I be worried? I was feeding him some super worms and one took off on my carpet. He bit and got stuck and freaked out for about 20 seconds and regurgitated a full worm and wiggled loose.

Claws can grow back but it takes a long time. I think it was well over a year for mine. Teeth also grow back.

About claws, even so if the claws are cut to the base?
