i never used it,and had it for a while i was woundering does it work and is it safe.

I've seen that before. Essentially, all it is is a concentrated cocktail of the nutrients reptiles get when bathing in natural sunlight. I haven't tried it myself, but I'd say just go with the real thing. I used a similar product (different company), and it sorta worked, but they just don't seem to retain as much of it as when they get it naturally.

edit: Sorry for being so vague....I'm doing a quick forum run before I have to buckle down and get to work. I think I made my point clear, though.
