Hey guys purchased a Columbian black and white tegu about a month ago and it is awesome unfortunately it's unsexed at the moment anyway I'm excited to keep working with her till she calms down now it darts in any direction it can as soon as I touch it although it has never tried to bite me (which is completely different then any of my other reptiles). Don't have a picture currently but was curious on your guys input on his cage setup. I've did a lot of research but I just wanted to make sure everything was ok. I have a ceramic heat bulb that gets about 115°F and cool side is about 70-85°F depending on time of day and weather. I use cypress multch as a substrate. In the picture I have a hide that's buried under the multch so only the opening of the hide is clear, it also likes to bury itself in the multch, humidity is normally around 50% except on the days I spray the cage. Thanks so much for reading!
