hibernation time agin.

My tegu is around 3 im pretty sure do i need to hibernate him. Will he grow faster if i put him threw hibernation after he wakes up from it? I plan on breeding him but not for at least a year and until i find him a woman

I let all of mine hibernate, I do not know if they can breed without hibernating, but Bert always claimed they will not.
