I AM A NEW TEGU OWNER AND I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO FEED TEGU DURING BRUMATION HES A ONE-YEAR-OLD MALE BLACK AND WHITE TEGU AND I NOTICED SLEEPING A LOT AND ONLY COME OUT FOR LIKE AN HOUR EVERY DAY ALSO CAN I HAVE SOME TIPS ON TEGU BURMATION

You don’t. They’ll naturally stop eating and start sleeping more and more. Don’t panic if they don’t eat for MONTHS. My mother would always come in asking if my boy was dead.. then after 7 entire months, he popped out and went to town on some turkey. Keep fresh water in there though, as they may come out for a drink occasionally. Once they start to ignore food on their own, then that’s when I stop feeding. You don’t want them to Brumate with a full gut or else the contents of the stomach will go septic and they could die.
