I didn't realize poop could smell that bad..

So I just realized how bad my tegu's poop smells and I'm about to throw up. I mean it looks like normal poop.. but is it supposed to smell that bad? Could it have parasites?

hehehehe Tegu poop is the worst smelling thin in the world..First time I ever smelled it I did puke and I have a strong stomach. I got used to the smell thou..

Depends on what your tegu last ate. Eggs and fish lead to the worst smelling bowel movements.

I made him his own special food (a mix of turkey, chicken, beef, and a couple silversides mixed in a blender with a sprinkle of his vitamin supplements) and thats what he eats as a staple and I'm not sure if thats good for him but he LOVES it. Although I just fed him a tiny peice of turkey liver today.

lol...I call what comes out of my tegu 'tar' because it's disgusting, foul, black, and sticks to everything. First time I stepped in that stuff, gah, I thought I was going to die. I had to keep from puking.

Today, I invested finally in a pet spot cleaner because my brat of a lizard still won't go while she's in the bath, so I give up. Yet another victory for my brat, lol.
