I just got a tegu! Videos Just Posted

I just recieved a 6month old b&w tegu this morning from Agama and it is everything I dreamed of and more!!! Within an hour of me and my roomate getting it out of the box, it was allready cool with us and exploring every nook of our apt, as well as letting us pick it up. The second it starts looking around and exploring, as well as problem solving you can immediatly sense the intellegence of the animal. We also found that there are places that you have to tegu proof like to keep it from going underneath your aquarium and not being able to get it to come out for some time later, also if it cant get around it, first try to push through it, then if it still doesnt move, go around it. It is one of the best pets I have ever owned, and I have only had it for 7 hours!!!! Also I want six more!! Pix will b coming soon, and im almost done with my enclosure build, got the second coat of paint on today, and tomorrow it's getting wired and furnished, and the doors installed.

This is a video of him, me and my roomate took today, We were talking about the superworms in the first video we were trying to pick up, they mean business! We have him in a 40gal. breeder for the next few days till we get the finishing touches on his enclosure. Also in the videos hes really dirty from hibernating, and tomorrow guess what?!? He gets a bath

The first night I had my Chacoan,I fell asleep with him sleeping on my arm and woke up and he was still there.I just couldn't let him be in a scarey cage all alone after his trip to me.
