Igneel has started shedding, only half of the tail is left. He's getting more and more active day and even though he has only been with me for a few short months and has been sleeping most of that time he seeks me out for attention and readily accepts food from me. Lilly is still nervous of me but she no longer tries to bite or whip me.

Excuse the lack of dirt, I had to remove all of it last week due to some mite infested moss I purchased, i've since filled it in.

That's a content pair of tegus. They look great. Yeah, the biting/whipping fades fast. Maybe they'll breed?

I'm hoping so, I'd absolutely love to have more baby tegus, i've aleady got a large dubia colony up and going and have already ordered some various sizes of rats in bulk as well as lots of whole ground mix and some extra slate tiles as well as UVB bulbs. So, if they don't reproduce i'll just have extra supplies which never hurts lol.

You'll know. Sometime in the spring, varies where you live, male will make quite a show of strutting around. Mine goes for about 2,weeks in early June, farther south in May.
