in memory of my tegus

i just wanted to pay a special tribute to my tegus whom i recently lost. they were incredible pets and will forever be remembered. nero my very first tegu from bobby held a special place in my heart, she was the first reptile i got as a hatchling whom i got to witness grow up, she remained so calm and tame since i got her on 8/11/2009 at only 5 wks old achilles was a firecracker in the beginning but she calmed down quickly, eventually she became very frienly and would clinb all over me to get attention. pyro my 1st red tegu was a real gem, he was aggresive but he was so beautiful, he loved taking baths and he had an appetite that would put some reptile to shame. gozar my male b/w tegu was only with me for a short time, but in that time he was a sweet boy, he was very freindly and loved going outside to roam around with nero. i have so many fond memories of my tegus, it really saddens me to have to write this. i would like to thank everyone for being there for me during this hardship, its not easy loosing a pet an loosing all of them at one time can really take a toll on a person, but your kind words an gestures are helping me during this time of distress. im going to make it through this an will soon have 2 new additions to love and care for!

Thank you for posting the very nice pictures of them. They all were very good looking. I'm glad to hear that you will be getting two more Tegus. Do you know yet when you are going to get them ?

thank you. im not sure, right now im still in the process of finding a place, so definately after i get situated an get them a nice setup. i hope its before it gets cold and the decide to hibernate.

WOW they truely are amazing tegus, I am so sorry for your loss. Times like this make me wish i had a time machine, cuz i'd so go back a day before this happened and post a huge warning.
