I'm hibernating my tegu in a rubbermaid tub in the sunporch and it usually dips into the mid to upper 50's at night with highs in the mid to upper 60's during the day. Is this too cold for her?
I wouldn't think so, as long as it isn't sustained for too long. I know that for my colubrids I go down to 60, and even sometimes 45 without problem. What's the high temp though, because if it's rapidly dipping in and out of extremes, there could be some issues... they usually burrow to keep steadier ranges.
