So, I just got a one year old Tegu two days ago, and she has mostly been under the substrate, and she hasn't eaten at all. I understand that this is normal behavior since she's probably pretty stressed out from all the change, but I also had a thought this morning, what if she's about to hibernate?
Since I just got her, I don't know if she hibernates or not. So should I stop offering her food just encase?
Also, if she's not about to hibernate, would it be bad if I stopped feeding her, or would she automatically start the hibernation process if I shorten her days and lower the heat?
