I don't know...
I saw a Paraguayan tegu at the FIRE Expo last July. Poor thing...it was a female and appeared to be a darker Argentine B/W. My first thought was that it looked to be a locality difference, not a subspecies or different species. I think it's another way to try to make a buck. Anyway, this girl has a crooked spine and something else in her face that wasn't quite right (misaligned jaws, underbite, I don't remember now). She had obviously had some previous issues, MBD perhaps, but still, they were trying to get top dollar for this unusual tegu.
I don't mean to blast anyone's business, but I have heard of some unhappy customers with this company. Caveat emptor...buyer beware! (And their party pic with the Burmese inches away from the little girl's head drives me nuts from a safety point of view!)
