Let's get the Chatroom going again!!

This sites Chatroom used to be very active. Not with just tegu keepers, but with all reptile keepers.
I am going to make an effort to spend more time in there and there is a couple other people who hang out in there on occasion as well.

If you have any trouble entering the chat you can pm me and I'll help trouble shoot your issue.

it might be slow for a bit, but if there's people there occasionally it will pick up and return to its former glory.

Ive even thought about scheduling a weekly chat if people are interested

Once you are there click "chat now". Enter your desired user name and for channels type in "#tegutalk". Click connect, give it a few seconds and you are in.

hay Beazer thanks a bunch for the IRC link because i use a Unix based Linux OS i have been building and the TeguTalk chat i could not figure out the glitch so this is cool,
so if any one has plug-in issues the link Beazer posted should work..

my computer at work wont let me on the link that beazer posted. The one linked on tegutalk it opens up the chat then says connecting, then says disconnected from something. It doesnt give a reason or a fault code so I dont know where to go from here. It may just be blocked or have an incompatible setting on my work comp.

I'm not much for chatrooms in general but I would surely visit an active hobby related chat.

If it were just a bunch of Tegu owners talking about random things I suspect I'd loose interest quick, but if we had a topic chat once a week or even randomly scheduled I'd surely make efforts to be there.

Some time ago I put together a DIY chat here. It got some attention and we kicked around a few ideas. It wasn't quite what I had hoped though.

I'll be watching to see what other's put together...
