Hey guys, Would a 150w mercury vapor bulb and a 100w hologen flood bulb be enough to heat the basking spot to 110 and keep the warm side at around 90 for an 8LX2'WX3'H. And would an 150watt bulb heat a 40 breeder to the right tempreture?

It all depends on the distance the bulb is from the Tegu. Ours have a 75W or 90W halogen about 16" from them. A 150W bulb in a 40G sounds a bit high, especially if you cover most of the top to hold in the humidity.

Get a TempGun to check your basking temps. Never guess.
