So I gave the tegu a bath for the first time yesterday since he moved in with us. Man, is he fast! The second I put my hand in the bath to try to pet him he ran up my arm and was trying to get as far away from the bath as possible. I think it was good for him though since it got some shed off and gave him a chance to build trust with me. I still don't have an accurate measure of humidity so I hope the bath helped.
After the bath though, it was a different story. Okay - maybe I didn't build any trust with him because he kept hiding every time I came around =( ...oh well, I thought we had something going there....today is a new day though. Hopefully he forgot...
