Lost the little dude....

Sorry to report that after two weeks of hiding I dug up my smaller tegu to find him dead with his intestines blown out of his rectum. I have never seen anything like it before. We buried him in the back yard. Has anyone ever had their tegu blow it's intestines out? It's been a devistating bizarre experience. The big dude seems healthy solid poops massive growth and appetite so I doubt it was parasites. But who knows
