As i have gotten me a tegu from someone who has fed them porc (lol)
i wondered about the feeding regime of these lizards.
I think feeding them too many mice isnt a good idea as they contain a lot of fat. Maybe cooked lean meat such as chicken is a better option.
And maybe a mouse every once in a while.
Together with vegetable matter and fruits of course.

raw ground turkey is a good meal filler, also raw cow liver..

Cooked meat (not eggs) aren't good. If ANYTHING, you MAY feed raw ground turkey, although it's really used only because it's cheap. Feed bugs, mice, and fruits, plain meat sucks IMO.

I have even been giving Barbossa the skin from my fish fillets and he will eat the bits of meat off of the shin and then he leaves the skin lol he is too funny
