Those are some cute kids you have there, txrepgirl. Is Shakespeare still boycotting the ground turkey?




@moop: Feeding tegus in a separate tub has two purposes:

1. To prevent impaction (since there is no substrate to ingest in the feeding bins)
2. To prevent cage aggression (They don't see you with food or associate things coming into their cage with food sources).

It's interesting that you perceive that to be an American thing. I wonder if that's true.

Hi moop. I'm from Germany but lived in the US for 16 years now. Thank you for the very nice compliment . Utahraptor took the words out of my mouth. Those are the reason why I'm doing it like this. Oh, I almost forgot. They are eating some fresh salmon that I got at my local supermarket. It doesn't have any growth hormones in it.

Utahraptor. He has been taking a few bites here and there. I'm going to put some ground turkey and some liver in a blender tomorrow and mix it up and see if he will eat that.
