mouth trouble on my carpet

my female carpet that i purchased a few weeks ago has something wrong with one side of her mouth.it looks like maybe she injured it and its swolen and when i took her out of the tank to look at her some white junk came on on my arm.i looked at pics of mouth rot but it dosent quite look like it. i think it is the reason she has been hufy. seems like something in her mouth is doing it. ill get pics up as soon as my fiance lets me use her cam...>.<

She could have an abcess caused by a broken tooth. I would take her to the vet.

any idea of the cost to treat that?

Generally a visit is around $50. Antibiotics another $30-$50. Minimum will.probably be about $80.
